BRIEF PROFILE

A former Army officer, Capt B N Yadav has over 3 decades of expertise in integrated security. His varied experience has enabled him to contribute positively towards building a secure environment in many organizations which continuously seek his advice on relevant security matters.

His initial training and 5 years of experience in the Indian Armed forces, and the subsequent assignments of importance at the Maurya Sheraton and Centaur Hotel, New Delhi have enhanced his perception on many pertinent modern era security issues.

An 8 years stint as the Security Chief at Government of India Press, Minto Road and the opportunity to coordinate the security of 22 Printing Presses falling under the Directorate of Printing, Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India further nurtured his interest in this burgeoning field.

His 24 plus stint at Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, greatly contributed towards creating a secure and peaceful environment at the prestigious premier Institute. His responsibilities besides coordinating the security of this prestigious Institute included taking care of Fire emergencies & Safety. Further, he has successfully handled student activity of more than 20,000 students during technical and cultural festivals organized at the institute and also overseen the movement of VIPs & VVIPs during the visit to the campus.

He has contributed immensely in the area of security management, few notable being developing expertise in Educational Institute, Campus Security and Event Security Management. He is on advisory panel of prominent educational Institutes like: JNU, IGNOU, GGIU, Kanpur University, IIIT Gwalior, IIIT Delhi , MNIT Jaipur, IIT Ropar, IIT Guwhati, NIT Nagpur, NIT Jamshedpur and Indian Railways. He has special interests in security training and consultancy.

He was awarded ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ in the year 2014 by the Security Industry and Industry Crusader Award by IFSEC INDIA.
